Pastor Poppe was born and raised in Racine, WI. He was baptized, confirmed, and married at Grace Lutheran Church, where his father served as pastor for over thirty-four years. He attended Lutheran schools his whole life, including earning a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with a certificate in Lutheran Teacher Education from Concordia University Chicago in 2013, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Portland in 2015, and a Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne in 2026. His vicarage was at Grace Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg, FL. After college he taught in Lutheran schools for nine years, three years at the Lutheran High School of Honolulu and six years at Rockford Lutheran School in Rockford, IL. In the fall of 2021, he was reintroduced to Haley, and they were married in November of 2022. They have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Sophia born in May of 2024 and Zoe born in November of 2025. In his free time, pastor enjoys running, hiking, and reading. He also cheers on his favorite teams, the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and especially the Green Bay Packers.
Mr. Ragland is a graduate of Concordia-Nebraska. He was born in Grand Island, NE. In his 30+ years of service to Lutheran schools, he has taught PE, Theology, and Math. He has been an assistant principal and an athletics director in several different High Schools. He has served Lutheran high schools in Las Vegas, Racine, WI, Rockford, IL, and Cleveland, OH. He is honored and excited to serve Trinity in the role of principal. He looks forward to working with the students, teachers, and families! In his free time, he roots for Nebraska football and likes to travel with Mrs. Ragland to see their children and grandchildren.
Ms. Vanessa is from Hilbert and earned her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fox Valley Technical College in 2025. During her time there, she gained valuable hands-on experience in the classroom, allowing her to apply what she was learning directly with children. She believes in creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels safe, seen, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. Outside the classroom, she loves spending time with her family, reading, and baking.
Mrs. Ragland graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Church Music. In her twenty-plus years of teaching, she has had various experiences including multi-grade classrooms, single-grade classrooms, and being a music teacher. She is excited to begin serving in the 4K-5K classroom at Trinity! Mrs. Ragland also enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling with Mr. Ragland to see their children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Lau has been at Trinity since August 2021. She grew up in Chilton, Wisconsin and teaches 1st and 2nd graders. Nicole is married to her husband Jake and together have the beautiful Miss Madelyn! In Mrs. Lau's free time, she enjoys to golf, read, and spend time with family and friends. Mrs. Lau is very devoted to her teaching and loves bringing new and fresh ideas to her multi-grade classroom to see her students best succeed.

Jen Eichmeier
Jennifer graduated from Lakeland University in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in History. She later earned her Master's Degree in Education from Viterbo University in 2012 and completed her Administrative Certificate with Central Office Endorsement through the Michigan Association of Superintendents and Administrators in 2021.
Jennifer and her husband, Brad, lived in Potter from 1999 to 2014 while raising their three sons, Brady, Carter, and Owen. They then moved to Jennifer's hometown in Michigan to pursue a business opportunity. Three years ago, they were grateful to return to their Potter roots and reconnect with the community they have always considered home.
Outside of school, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors camping, taking photographs, and exploring nature. She also loves reading, crafting, and preserving special memories through scrapbooking.
Jennifer feels honored and blessed to serve Trinity Lutheran School–Rantoul. She is grateful to be part of such a strong Christian community and looks forward to partnering with students, families, and staff as they work together to help children grow in faith, knowledge, and character.

Heather Karls
Heather grew up in Chilton and graduated from Chilton High School in 2020. She attended the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh Fox Cities for one year before transferring to the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2024. For the past two years, she has taught first grade at New Holstein Elementary School. Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, Heather spent three and a half years working with children ages 6–12 at Inspire Dreams Learning Center.
Outside of the classroom, Heather enjoys expressing her creativity through art, especially painting. She loves sharing her finished pieces with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family, whether that means going on outings with her cousins or gathering for special occasions. One of her favorite summer traditions is camping, and she especially looks forward to her annual July camping trip to Kingston, where she enjoys visiting Amish bakeries and sampling homemade treats.
