6th/7th/8th Teacher
Heather Karls
Heather grew up in Chilton and graduated from Chilton High School in 2020. She attended the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh Fox Cities for one year before transferring to the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2024. For the past two years, she has taught first grade at New Holstein Elementary School. Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, Heather spent three and a half years working with children ages 6–12 at Inspire Dreams Learning Center.
Outside of the classroom, Heather enjoys expressing her creativity through art, especially painting. She loves sharing her finished pieces with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family, whether that means going on outings with her cousins or gathering for special occasions. One of her favorite summer traditions is camping, and she especially looks forward to her annual July camping trip to Kingston, where she enjoys visiting Amish bakeries and sampling homemade treats.
